Precautions for Shipping Cargo
When shipping, please arrange for packaging that can withstand ocean transportation and is stackable. Please note that we may not be able to accept prohibited items that are restricted by the laws and authorities of the countries to which they are exported, or items that require prior import permission, licenses, or other prescribed procedures, if these items have not been confirmed in advance.
Precautions for Shipping Cargo
Damaged and repaired cargo
We cannot accept unpacked or weakly packed cargo. In addition, depending on the situation, we may ask you to re-pack the items or may not be able to accept shipments that are shaped in such a way that they may damage other cargo in the container due to protrusions, etc.
Cargo Types and Specification
Please contact us for our acceptance criteria for specially shaped cargoes such as long cargoes, heavy cargoes, tall cargoes, and unstackable or stacking-prohibited cargoes. Additional fees apply based on the type of cargo handled.
Packing conditions
Please indicate the CASE MARK and each CASE NUMBER on the outer packaging. We recommend that the CASE NUMBER be written as a serial number.
Wooden packing materials
When using wooden packing materials, please arrange for disinfection, labeling, etc. in accordance with ISPM No. 15 Regulations for Wood Packing Materials in International Trade.
Bagged
We will accept bagged cargo only if it is packed on pallets and secured with shrink wrap. For bagged cargo, please arrange for packing that is small enough to fit onto a pallet.
Coiled, rolled
For rolled and coiled cargo, EYE TOP and case packing will be accepted.
Dangerous Goods, Cargo subject to the Japanese Fire Service Act
For hazardous goods and cargoes subject to the Japanese Fire Service Act, please contact us for confirmation as to whether or not they can be handled.
About the use of online booking
We only accept standard cargo through online booking. If you wish to use online booking for specially shaped cargo or food items, please let us know the details of your cargo in advance.
